Hotel Zaltbommel is open

To ensure your health and that of our employees, Van der Valk Hotel Zaltbommel has stricter measures. The use of our facilities is probably different from what you are used to, but we ask you for your understanding and for your cooperation. This is how we ensure a safe and familiar stay at Hotel Zaltbommel. We hope to welcome you again soon!

General

GENERAL

  • Upon arrival at the hotel, we will ask you to show your corona entrance ticket and identification card.
  • Wearing face masks is no longer mandatory from June 26.
  • Disinfectant is available in various places in the hotel.
  • Our house rules can be read on the digital screens in the hotel.
Hotel and breakfast

HOTEL AND BREAKFAST

  • Room Service is available until 10.00 P.M. We charge € 10 per order.
  • Breakfast is available to both hotel guests and non-hotel guests. We serve breakfast from the buffet.
  • We work with time slots for breakfast. The time will be discussed with you in advance.
  • We ask you to disinfect your hands at the entrance of the breakfast buffet.
  • We use one-way traffic on the breakfast buffet.
  • The hotel and fitness are open for hotel guests.
Terrace

TERRACE

  • Would you like to sit on the terrace? Then we ask you to show your corona access card and identification. (This applies from 25 September 2021) The terrace can only be accessed via the hotel. 
  • Our terrace is open on the regular time slots.
  • Reservations are unfortunately not possible, you can sit based on availability.
  • The terrace is open every day, depending on the weather. In doubt about the weather? Please feel free to contact our reception.

Restaurant and Bar

RESTAURANT

  • On arrival at Restaurant Salt, we ask guests from outside to show a corona entrance ticket and proof of identity. (Please note that this will apply from Saturday 25 September)
  • Restaurant Salt is open on the regular time slots. 
  • Book a table in advance or just walk-in, a reservation is no longer mandatory.
  • We ask to wait at the entrance for the host to show you a table.

MC-CAFE

  • When arriving at the MC-Café, we ask guests from outside to show a corona admission ticket and ID. (Please note that this will apply from Saturday 25 September)
  • Our MC-Café is open on the regular time slots.
  • t is not necessary to make a reservation, you can just walk in.
  • We ask to wait at the entrance for the host to show you a table.
Conference center

CONFERENCE CENTER

RESTRICTIONS

  • During business meetings, we check all guests for a valid corona access card and ID. (Please note that this will take effect from 25 September 2021)
  • Maximum group sizes depend on the meeting room reserved please contact us if you have any questions.

CARE

  • It is possible to use self-service in the Break Out next to the hall.
  • Lunch can be served in the hall, in the Break-Out or in the restaurant.
  • Dinner can be served in the restaurant or in the hall.

 

SAFE AND COMFORTABLE

At Van der Valk, the health, safety and well-being of our guests and employees has the highest priority. In order to guarantee your health and safety, we would like to ask you to observe the following policy during your visit to our hotel:

  • Corona ticket and identification card upon arrival at the hotel
  • Follow indicated walking direction and hygiene measures
  • Do not shake hands with fellow guests or hotel staff
  • Wash your hands regularly and in accordance with RIVM guidelines
  • Use paper towels to dry your hands
  • Cough and sneeze in your elbow and turn away from fellow guests and hotel staff
  • Preferably pay with pin or contactless

Do you have symptons of a cold, such as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough or increase to 38 degrees Celsius? Then we ask you to stay at home and not to come to the hotel.

Is it safe to visit a Van der Valk Hotel?

Van der Valk takes your health and that of the employees very seriously. We have tightened measures within the hotel so that this can be guaranteed. All Van der Valk hotels are furnished according to the guidelines of the RIVM. As a hotel, we do everything we can to keep risks to a minimum.

Is it possible to order room service?

Yes, you can order roomservice until 10:00 P.M. There will be a 10.00 euro service charge. 

How is it controlled?

In our hotel lobby, restaurant and halls, we will scan the QR code and if the code is green, you are welcome in the hotel. In addition, we will check ID proofs.

While checking access, my screen turns red, what do I do now?

If a red screen is shown, you will be denied access to our hotel. 

Can I change or cancel my booking?

This depends on the conditions of your booking. When you make a reservation through our own website, you can book the flexible rate, you can cancel free of charge until 14:00 the day before.

Can I change my booking on the day of arrival if I have symptoms?

This is possible if you have opted for the flexible rate. Cancellations must be made before 14:00 the day before arrival.

Can I also choose not to work with the corona access card and stick to the 1.5 metres measure?

No, unfortunately that is not possible. The 1.5 metre measure has been dropped. Our rooms have been designed accordingly and we can therefore no longer guarantee this.

How long is my corona ticket valid?

A Dutch test certificate is valid until 24 hours after the moment of testing. Within these 24 hours you can visit our location with the certificate.

A recovery certificate is valid from 11 days after the positive test, up to 180 days after the positive test.

A vaccination certificate is valid from 14 days after the last vaccination.

From what age is the corona access app required?

From what age is the corona access app mandatory?
Anyone over 13 years of age who wants to enter a catering establishment must show a valid QR proof as of 25 September. From the age of 14 onwards, the use of the corona access proof must be verified together with the identity document.
