Restaurant Salt is located in Van der Valk Hotel Zaltbommel-A2 and has 300 couverts. It is the heart of the hotel, where guests are welcomed from early morning until late at night. Take a seat and enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, high tea or dinner in the modern, warm ambiance.

Every day you can enjoy our extensive High Tea for 2,5 hours. This is served in Salt Restaurant, in the MC Cafe or in our cosy wine bar. During the High Tea you will be treated to sweet, cold and hot dishes.

The restaurant is divided into cosy seating areas. The luxurious materials, fabrics and furniture have a sound-absorbing effect and this ensures pleasant acoustics. So you can have your conversation at the table undisturbed.

THE NAME SALT
Zaltbommel used to be called Saltbommel or Sautbommel. This name refers to the trade in Zeeland salt in the Middle Ages, which was very important to Bommel at the time. Restaurant Zout Zaltbommel was named after this trade.
